I was brought up by my single mom, Nari.
She was actually 16 at the time when she had me growing up with a young mum.
It's like, uh, growing up with your best friend.
You kind of learn together and experience life together.
He really has been like my little mate.
And so it's his brother.
I'm his number one supporter, the hardest and most wonderful part about this.
It's sort of letting him go doing his own thing.
I come from a large indigenous and multicultural background.
We got a bit of Filipino, some Yaroun, Yamaji, some Scottish and a little bit Irish as well.
I come from a real musical family.
My granddad, Stephen and his brothers are in the van called Bigger Moments.
I have a lot of father figures in my life that have really shaped me into who I am, an ally act.
Today, music is just a part of who we are.
The connection to the land of the stories is something always carried.
So you've come from a very musical family.
Pig rooms, you know, were inducted into the West Australian Hall of Fame with a couple of us were here.
But we've been playing since the seventies when we were growing up.
We didn't really have this kind of opportunity that we should just the old pub circuit around Australian.
