And we&#39;re gonna talk about some tips for travelling in Japan

我們要聊的是日本旅行的小貼士

And I know lots of you guys are gonna come visit here

So we thought we would think of some helpful things to tell you

所以我們想說不如 和你們分享一些小貼士

So the first one that we both thought was really important was

Let me show you mine so you know what I&#39;m talking about

And just tap it on the gates at the train station

and it&#39;ll automatically take off how much money you need to pay for that trip

So instead of looking up... Oh I&#39;m in Tokyo and I need to go to Shibuya

這樣就不需要查一趟車要多少錢了

Ok that&#39;s like 170 yen... so I have to buy a 170 yen ticket

像是從東京去澀谷要170日圓 就要去買170日圓的車票

And when it runs out you can fill it up again at the machines

用完後只要在專用的機器 再儲值就行了

There are a lot of different brands for them

Some of them don&#39;t work on every train line

So if you get yours in Tokyo, it might not work on every train line in every other city

如果是在東京買的 可能無法在其他城市的所有線使用

And same for train cards from other cities as well

And then there are also benefits for some of them

Some of them will let you accumulate points

That&#39;s so cool! The ones in Tokyo don&#39;t

好厲害哦！東京的卡沒有這優惠

All around it&#39;s just very useful and awesome

You can get these at the train machines where you buy tickets

There&#39;ll be an English button so just push that

會有英文的語言選項  只要按下去就行了

There are a lot of helpful apps you can get if you&#39;re gonna be in Japan

要在日本待上一陣子的話  有很多便利的APP

When you&#39;re travelling from one place to another

The app will automatically calculate the quickest route, the cheapest route

這個APP會計算出最快最便宜的路線

So you don&#39;t have to go look at maps yourself

路線圖很討厭  這裏的地鐵路線圖超討厭的

If you get this app you can be like &quot;I&#39;m in Tokyo right now, and I wanna go here!&quot;

有了這個APP “我現在在東京 然後我要去這裡！”

If you want the cheapest route or the fastest route

There&#39;s English ones, and there&#39;s Japanese ones

So I say Tokyo at the top, Shibuya at the bottom

所以上面輸入東京  下面輸入澀谷

So the station in the middle here is the station you need to transfer at

中間這些站就是你需要轉乘的站

So it tells you you have 4 minutes to get to your transfer spot

這個APP還會告訴你 你有4分鐘的時間

Something that may not be common sense in a lot of countries these days

一件在很多國家很不合常理的事

So you kinda need to have cash here when you go around

A lot of stores don&#39;t take credit cards

Especially if they&#39;re smaller or not in a big city

尤其是比較小的店  或者大城市外的店

Or if you&#39;re paying for admission to something

Like a shrine, it probably won&#39;t take a credit card

I would say about 70% of the places I go don&#39;t accept credit cards

我估計我去的地方有70%不收信用卡

Even ones that you would really think would

You&#39;ll be surprised, so always have cash on you for sure

你會很驚訝的  所以請確保身上有現金

Narita airport is actually located in Chiba prefecture

And it takes quite a while to get into Tokyo from Narita airport

從成田機場要花一些時間才能到東京

It&#39;s kinda rare because most planes do go to Narita

雖然有點少見  因為很多航班會去成田

if you&#39;re coming from outside of Japan

But if you can get a flight that comes into Haneda, I&#39;d say go with that one

可以搭在羽田降落的航班就搭那個

You&#39;ll be able to get into downtown Tokyo a lot quicker

A cool thing about Japan is that there&#39;s basically no tipping here

So you don&#39;t have to worry when you go to a restaurant, you don&#39;t leave a tip

所以去餐館不需要擔心  不用留小費

You don&#39;t leave a tip for taxi drivers or... anything

I can&#39;t think of any instance where you would be expected to leave a tip

I&#39;ve never been in a situation where I&#39;ve had to leave a tip here

So don&#39;t worry about it! Hair dressers, taxis, pizza man

理髮師  計程車  送披薩外賣的...

Nothing, literally. Just remember no tipping in Japan!

真的不需要  只要記住 在日本不需要給小費

Even if you feel like you wanna leave a tip, I don&#39;t think you should

即使想要給小費  我覺得不要比較好

Even if you feel like &quot;This person was really awesome, I wanna give them a bonus!&quot;

即使你覺得說 “這個人的服務太好了 我想給他一點獎勵！“

And they&#39;ll come running outside to give it back to you

So it&#39;s probably better not to do it even if you really want to

所以即使想給小費也最好不要這麼做

Because they just don&#39;t really understand the tipping culture here

因為日本人不明白給小費的文化

And I think they feel really weird about trying to keep it

Exactly, even if you try to explain to them

If you just say thank you, you are above most customers

所以只要說聲謝謝  就比一般客人好了
