TEAM is another way to say "Everybody but me." It's popular in corporate environments where an asshole wants work done, but doesn't want to do it, but wants to seem like they want to. Therefore they start their email with "TEAM"
Here's an example email text:
I need you to do x."
a common term used in online video games when one team has a numerical advantage of atleast two extra playersover the other
when "teams" is called out, players should view the number of players for each team and make them even by switching or spectating
however, if a team has only a one man advantage [eg, 8v7....it is not appropriate to call out teams]
why didnt nobody switch and make em even? gg teams
player B: its 7 vs 6, you want us to cut a player in half?
Being a team means being committed to something and sticking to it. It means even when you feel sick, depressed, or you have plans, you still participate and stay committed. No skipping. No 'Wahh, I don't fell good." No "I'd rather hang out with my boyfriend." All in all, TEAM means staying committed, showing up even when you don't want to, and giving all you've got. If you aren't willing to do that, they don't bother being part of a team.
Girls in volleyball; "oh we'd rather go out with guys, or 'stay home sick together'". Team.
You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think your going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for his team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. Thats the definition of a Team, and either we live as a team, or we die as individuals. Thats life my friends.
As defined by [Al Pacino].
Dude 1: hey man would you be willing to sacrifice yourself for me?
Dude 2: hmm i dunno, would you do the same for me?
Dude 1: yeah sure.
Dude 2: ok then.
Dude 1: sweet. guess that makes us a team.
