we are the light that shines through. All else is just smoke and mirrors

我們像光，穿透人生的迷霧。其他的，其實就只是鏡花水月

distracting but not truly compelling

迷惑我們的心智，卻不是真正能夠推動一個人 生命核心的要件

our eyes are not viewers they're also projectors

我們的眼睛不僅可以觀看、接收訊息，同時還具有投射的功能

可以用來演繹 有如朝露般短暫的人生故事

that we see in front of us all the time fear is writing that script

那就是我們總被眼前的事物蒙蔽，任由恐懼主導的人生劇本

now fear is going to be a player in your life you get to decide how much

現在，恐懼將在你的人生扮演一個重要的角色，你可以決定

you could spend your whole life imagining ghosts

要花 生命中的多少時間在想像未知的恐怖上

worrying about the pathway to the future but all there will ever be

擔心未來的路要怎麼走，但是

is what's happening here in the decisions we make in this moment which

將來到底會如何，還是要端看我們此刻所做的決定

are based in either love or fear

而那其實取決於 你到底是選擇了要讓熱忱，還是恐懼主宰你的人生

so many of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality

所以，我們絕大多數的人在保守評估下，選擇了貌似能夠遠離恐懼的路

what we really want seems impossibly out of reach

因為我們內心真正渴求的，看起來根本就不可能達到啊

and ridiculous to expect so we never dared to ask the universe for it

就連說「好想要喔」，我們都覺得太荒謬了，實在說不出口

I'm saying that you can ask the universe for it

我要說的是，你大可以向宇宙許下任何的願望

life doesn't happen to you

那些本來不會降臨在你身上的

it happens for you

也會為你而發生

as far as I can tell it's just about

據我所知，就只是

letting the universe know what you want

讓宇宙知道你想要的是什麼

and working toward it

然後朝目標努力前進

while letting go of how it comes to pass

why not take a chance on faith

何不試試信仰？

not religion but faith

我指的不是「宗教」上的信仰，而是「信念」的信仰

not hope but faith. I don't believe in hope

那也不是希望，而是信念。我不相信「希望」這種東西

hope is the beggar. Hope walks through the fire

希望就好像是在乞求。如果說希望可以支撐你走過火焰般的考驗的話

and faith leaps over it

那麼信念可以引領你一躍而過

and able to do beautiful things in this world
